- Voter Registration Deadline – May 25, 2026
- Absentee Ballot Request Deadline – June 5, 2026

2026 General Election:
- Voter Registration Deadline – October 12, 2026
- Absentee Ballot Request Deadline – October 23, 2026
- Early In-Person Voting Period – September 19 – October 31, 2026

Voting on Election Day:
In Virginia polls are open from 6:00am until 7:00pm. As long as you are in line by 7:00pm you will be able to vote.
When voting in person, you will be asked to show one of the following Photo IDs at your polling place:
- Virginia Voter Photo ID card
- Virginia driver’s license
- Virginia DMV-issued photo ID
- United States passport
- Employer-issued photo ID
- Other U.S. or Virginia government-issued photo ID
- Tribal enrollment or other tribal photo ID
